Rawkee - Neverland

What the artist says:
I just let my ideas come to life, that's all. The basis was the vocal around which I made the music.

What we say:
A nice flow to this track, with some unusual sounds. The track starts with a distorted synth, then some euro style vocals kick in. I think the vocals would have worked better with some 'euro' style pads/strings and synths, although this track does have some nice elements.

Vast Vision - Taiga

What the artist says:
Uplifting trance with an energetic build up. Lush break with nice pads and a simple though catchy melody, with a summery feel to it.

What we say:
This track builds very well, with some nice synth merges and a strong beat. Although this track has the 'typical' trance elements and a good driving beat, it struggles to stand out from the rest. But with them comments aside, this is a good trancer and a joy to listen to.

Synthex - The Other Reality

What the artist says:
Don't know, just what we feel in our soul.

What we say:
This is a very good progressive track. The vocals are mysterious and the beat is driving. This track would easily get any club crowd going. Very edgy and dark. It would be great to hear a higher quality version, send us a CD through.

Mala n Marsh - Blinded By The Light

What the artist says:
I am looking for a UK reklease. Currently released in over 71 territores globally. Will be released by WATER (USA) this year and possibly the Benelux regions. More info, please email subsonicrecords@optusnet.com.au

What we say:
nice commercial vocal trance. I can see a lot of people liking this track. The vocals are slightly muddy and the melody could be better, but over all this is a good track. thanks for sending us the demo

Oscillator - Terran

What the artist says:
I started to work on this track over a year ago and I'm still not sure if it's finished yet. I wanted to create a dark and sci-fi-kind of feeling with this track and I wonder how well I manage to do it. Cheers! /R.

What we say:
This track has overtones of an 80's track I once heard. The melodies are very nicely put together, but the beat needs modernizing. A very good effort!

CosmixOne - Deep inside

What the artist says:
This is one of my latest ,is a progressive chill track

What we say:
Deep Inside builds very nicely, gradually getting you into the flow of whats to come. The bass then comes in and brings the track to life, my only grumble would be that the intro was not long enough; it gets going and then stops. I then found my self tapping my foot again with the introduction of the sine type synth and then the return of the beat. This track was a joy to listen to and everyone in the Mondo office loved it.

Evan Schwartz feat. Marcus Hunte - The Party's Just Begun

What the artist says:
Very catchy,melodic,positive and energetic ... Style: house/trance

What we say:
A very nice commercial track. The vocals gel very well with the music, unfortunaely not the type of track Mondo are looking for at this moment, but I am sure there will be loads of people who will like listening to this track, just as we did.

Pandora S-K vs Nova - Symphony

What the artist says:
To me this is beautiful melodic (if I do say so myself) uplifting trance! It has a slightly driving funky bassline, harmonious strings/chords and a hooky piano riff, complementing, when along side each other, very well. It also has a kinda eerie break down, that shifts octave to the main strings, leading into a build up of the main riff, which just keeps building and building into a crescendo of numerous 'happy feeling' melodies. To me this is what I call a 'Happy Trance' track. Without sounding too corny, I think it has a lot of great melodies overlapping one another that sound very pleasant to the ear.. One could imagine an orchestra of violinists playing the strings on this...Well... I imagine that anyway...

What we say:
Some nice sounds within this track. The only issue I had with this track, was that the synths were a little dated. The chord changes within the breakdown worked really well. This is a very good effort at trance, and Mondo would be interested in hearing your future productions.

Daniel H & Andy K - Euphoria

What the artist says:
Melodic Trance from Germany

What we say:
The intro is well crafted and grows with some great drum and synth programming along side the driving bass. Euphoria is quite simple in it’s arrangement however it is still very effective as a track, the full breakdown is good and has a quality edge with great synth breaks, pads and mysterious fx which create a opulent and captivating atmosphere. Though if I’m honest the track does generate a good vibe and is very euphoric in segments, however it’s not quite there to make it sound out yet has massive potential!!

Josefine C - Rising Sun

What the artist says:
This is a uplifting trance track with lots of energy in it! I would really appreciate some feedback on this! It would also be fun to see a girl on you're label;)

What we say:
Josefine C - Rising Sun The first thing that strikes you about Rising Sun is the energy through out and the overall tune is very uplifting and continues to grow as the track develops. Production and tight rhythms have been cleverly programmed to deliver a very stringent chunk of trance.

I think the only issue I have is it’s not massively groundbreaking compared to what is already out there and original elements are hard to find, but even taking that in to account it doesn’t fail to hit the spot and make us want to get the dancing boots off the shelves and leap on the tables!

And yes it would be it would be fun to see another girl join our label ;) Dale

Civil Citizen - Crystal Blue

What the artist says:
This is a melodictrancer with some different melody then the usuall stuff out there...

What we say:
Crystal Blue has a fantastic uplifting trance vibe, with tight drums and a syncopated baseline and great groove is set to underlay the offbeat melody section which filters in over the first few moments.

During the break down the lead comes in to full effect and helps the track build really well, this combined with interesting synth movement and development within the chord progression delivers a powerful punch when the kick smacks back in.

From there on it all works admirably and provides a great feel however it doesn’t really move forwards, the leading criticism I have is the lead has been slightly over used and the break down looses a bit too much energy but all in all this is a well produced slice of trance and delivers great moments!

Kallisto - Somewhere (In This World)

What the artist says:
Vocal trance track which we feel has commecial appeal without being cheesy. To accomany this mix we have also mixes from kenny hayes and cloudchaser.

What we say:
'‘Somewhere' is a very fresh-faced trance track containing a lot of radiant elements in particular the intro is a very prodigious affair packed full of emotion and drive. I love the way the track starts with dark atmosphere with the tune gradually building in energy, fanciful melodies entwined with beautiful atmospheric effects.

Vocal drops in the track help to really build with the swooping synth lines and floating vocal effects. The tune gradually builds in energy with sparkling air that embraces you to hold your attention to the breakdown.

The breakdown has a melancholic feel to create a great mood then builds up fantastically to deliver the main tune again.

Top Track!
