Lennox
Lennox aka Ronnie Minder was born 1978 in Thun, Switzerland and already as a kid he knew that he wanted to make music. At 12 he bought a poor keyboard which had no FX and just one instrument. He took some instrumental tracks like the one from "Tom's Diner" and tried to add his own music and melodies to the original. And as the years went by he got into all that rap stuff, songs like "The Power" from Snap were absolutely killer at this time and he brought up his own breakdance crew. Nothing serious , they just went to almost every party in town and performed their lame show. When Snap released "Rhythm is a Dancer" his whole perspective changed. He wanted to produce melodies like they did. He tried everything to produce a track like this but didn't really know how.
Some years later he heard of a new program called Music Maker, he bought it and started producing his own beats. Ronnie produced hundreds of tracks and sent them to almost every label on the planet but none of them were interested. Some years later he bought a few synthesisers , a sampler and a mixer and everything began to change. The first track he did with this new equipment was "Tha-P-Anthem" which was signed by Fog Area Records a few weeks later. After the first release on Shogun he found a new style of producing, harder beats mixed with lots of melody. He liked doing this "sad-orchestra-break" thing and kept going with it. The second release he had was "Listen to the Sound" as Hardenbrook.
Ronnie's current style is totally different from his earlier projects and he now has millions of ideas in his head. He produced a few tracks with his new sound and sent a bunch of them to a few labels and artists including Judge Jules who loved the tracks "Servant of Justice" and "Flyin among the Stars". Then these tracks finally made their way to Darren Tate and Mondo Records. The deal was done and Ronnie became Lennox. Expect more from this man in the future.
